E-commerce / AI phone + messaging workflow

Where is my order? Deserves a real answer.

Connect approved order, catalog, inventory and policy sources so customers can check status, ask product questions and start a defined return or support path by phone, website chat or WhatsApp.

The call that matters

“Order 48271 should be on tomorrow’s job site. Has it actually shipped?”

The job is not to imitate a person. It is to understand this request, use the right source, complete the allowed step and make uncertainty visible.

What customers actually ask

Begin with the requests already repeating.

These are useful starting points because the answer, action and owner can be defined before launch.

  1. 01

Where is my order, and what is the latest carrier event?

  2. 02

Is this item available, compatible or suitable for the stated use?

  3. 03

Can I change the address, quantity or delivery instruction?

  4. 04

How do I start a return, exchange, damage or missing-item request?

What the workflow does

Four moves. One accountable outcome.

01

Track

Verify the customer and read the latest approved carrier or order status.

02

Explain

Answer product, availability, shipping and policy questions from approved sources.

03

Start

Capture a return, exchange, damage or address-correction request using defined rules.

04

Escalate

Send exceptions, disputes and high-value cases to the right person with context.

What has to be connected

The answer needs an owner and a source.

Supported.tech should receive only the information and permissions required by the selected workflow.

01

Order system

Customer verification, order lines, fulfillment status and permitted changes.

02

Catalog and inventory

Approved product facts, compatibility notes and live availability where supported.

03

Policy source

Shipping, returns, exchanges, warranty and exception rules in plain language.

04

Support record

Create a ticket or structured follow-up when the request cannot be completed safely.

A responsible first rollout

Prove one route before adding another.

The test is simple: did the customer receive the current answer, complete an allowed next step or reach the right owner with the order context intact?

  1. 01

    Choose one post-purchase journey

Order status is usually easier to bound than broad product advice.

  2. 02

    Protect identity

Define what must be verified before account or shipment details are spoken or written.

  3. 03

    Map exceptions

Late scans, split shipments, damaged goods, disputes and policy exceptions need clear routes.

  4. 04

    Compare to the source

Review whether the answer matched the current order record—not whether the conversation merely sounded smooth.

Bring a real request

We will map the first useful route.

Tell us what customers ask, where the current answer lives and who should own the exception. That is enough to design a serious first test.

Map my first workflow

Hear it handle a real request.

Useful answers

Frequently asked questions.

Can Supported.tech give live order status?+

Yes, when a verified connection can retrieve the relevant order and carrier fields. If the source is unavailable or stale, the assistant should say so and route the case.

Can it approve refunds or exceptions?+

Only if an explicit, reviewed rule and permitted action exist. Discretionary refunds, disputes and policy exceptions should reach an authorized person.

Can it answer product questions?+

It can answer from approved catalog and knowledge sources, distinguish verified facts from missing information and escalate suitability or safety questions when needed.

Can the same workflow serve phone and messaging?+

The underlying knowledge and actions can be shared, but identity, consent, formatting and handoff behavior should be tested separately for each channel.
